“A Jumbo Records mudou pra uma loja maior aqui em Leeds. Pertinho de onde era antes, mas com mais espaço pra mostrar os discos que tem pra vender, umas “modernidades” (você agora pode ir lá pra tomar café espresso sentado em confortáveis poltronas de ocuro), um palco pra promoção de discos/bandas/shows, som melhor e mais espalhado que antes, e uma coisa que me faz pensar na finada Modern Sound em Copacabana: uma combinação infeliz de luz e posicionamento dos discos que causa reflexo demais, dificultando a gente ver/ler as capas. Comentei com eles poucos dias depois da mudança (que aconteceu tem umas duas semanas), eles disseram que não tinham percebido, e que iam dar uma olhada.

No RSD eles vão ter um punhado de bandas tocando lá, umas 6 ou 7, eu acho, mas nada de especial. Falando em RSD… algum pedido esse ano?

E falando em pedidos… my dear, acho que esse ano tá arriscado eu não aparecer no Patropi. Deixa minha cópia do livro embaixo de colchão que é pra ninguém levar, valeu? Tem uma chancezinha de eu aparecer aí em agosto, mas o mais provável é que seja na semana santa de 2018.

OK, agora vou desligar… que ainda tenho que dar comida pro cachorro antes de sair pro pub pra ver o jogo do Leicester contra o Atletico (ontem). Se tiver com cara de 0 x 0, tem sempre a possibilidade de ver Real x Bayern em outra televisão, mas esses jogos de superpowers não andam me interessando muito não. Inevitavelmente, o tempo vai passando e eu vou ficando cada vez mais British. Olha só: tem poucas semanas fui ver fui ver Bradford x Bolton pela terceira divisão daqui, 2 x 2 no estádio (pequeno) do Bradford lotado, achei mais legal que qualquer uma das minhas passagens pelos estádios de Londres, todo mundo cantando do começo ao fim, sem aquela atmosfera de teatro de shopping centre dos estádios do Arsenal ou do Chelsea…
