On Christmas Eve 2012, Oscar Winning Irish musician Glen Hansard invited some of Ireland’s most successful musicians, including Bono and Sinead O’Connor, to join him on the busiest shopping street in Dublin to surprise last minute Christmas shoppers by busking together to raise money for homeless charities in Ireland. For 3 hours Dublin city came to a halt as Grafton Street became the stage for the greatest music collaboration in Ireland. Music Filmmaker Myles O’Reilly was invited to make document of the event and even given a personal bodyguard to be able to get the footage that was needed to produce The Greatest Busk On Grafton Street.
