Just finished reading Gil Scott-Heron’s memoir “The Last Holiday.” This is a must read if you really want to know the man Gil. This was one brilliant brother! But you be the judge for yourself. Buy the book and you will have trouble putting it down. I loved his music and his views, but learning how they came to be was most interesting. We lost a brilliant, black mind when he passed away. Peace go with you brother.
